Boko Haram: We Have Reasons For All Our Activities, Thank Almighty Allah for attack on Sokoto,Zaria, Damaturu

No need to dialogue with Boko Haram – CAN president

President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has said that there is no basis for the Federal Government to negotiate with the Islamist sect, Boko Haram, since the latter is not ready to surrender its arms.
The CAN president said this on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital, at the end of the National Executive Council meeting of the association.
He stressed that the members of the sect were killing everyday, which, according to him, means that dialogue was not in their plans, saying the concept of dialogue was wrong.
“Life is about dialogue, wars never solved problem, I am not saying dialogue is not good but there must be basis for it. People are dying everyday as a result of the attacks of the sect, yet the Federal Government is opting for dialogue, it is puzzling to me”, he stated.
