Have A Childlike Response To The Word
…Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become
like little children [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never
enter the kingdom of heaven [at all]. Whoever will humble himself
therefore and become like this little child [trusting, lowly, loving,
forgiving] is greatest in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:1-4 AMP).
As a Christian, have a childlike response to the Word; the kind
described for us by Jesus in our theme verse. God expects us to respond
to the things of the Kingdom like little children, “trusting, lowly,
loving and forgiving.”
When He says for us to be trusting, He
wasn’t in any way suggesting that we be gullible. Rather, He meant for
us to have confidence and faith towards God; accepting that He’s
everything He says He is. To be gullible means that one is easily
persuaded; and children are not easily persuaded, though trusting. They
trust your character and believe whatever you say. It’s this kind of
childlike faith God expects us to have towards Him through His Word.
The Bible tells us “Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him
for righteousness” (Galatians 3:6). Like a child, he trusted and
followed the Lord, even though he didn’t know where God was leading him:
“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he
should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not
knowing whither he went” (Hebrews 11:8).
Another attribute of
children we’re admonished to emulate is their lowliness. Children are
humble. They’re not high-minded; they are just themselves. Jesus said
the one who humbles himself as a child is the greatest in the kingdom of
heaven. Also, children are loving and forgiving. They hardly recall
offences. No wonder the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:20, “Brethren, be
not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in
understanding be men.”
Children don’t know how to keep malice;
they’re quick to forgive. So be like children; be quick to pass over an
offence. Don’t hold grudges. Some people are easily pained over issues,
and hold on to the wrongs done to them continuously. Don’t be that way;
the Bible says love takes no record of wrongs.
Prayer
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for your love that’s in my spirit, which I express lavishly to everyone around me today. You’ve taught me how to live in your Kingdom and be effective in my day-to-day walk of faith by trusting you wholeheartedly and maintaining a humble and forgiving spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

...God doesn't just rule over your life. You have a role and a will,
and He wants you to make your own choices. God gives you His message,
speaks to you from His heart and it's up to you to apply it, you get
what the word promises, because it never fails. Your life must be an
expression of His glory!
...You're not what you see on the outside, it's what God says you are on
the inside that you are. As you keep meditating and contemplating on it
you'll find yourself changing from one level of glory to another. That
change comes from within and it's already happening to you...
Over and over as Jesus performed miracles, the glory of God was

refers to all the attributes of divinity, that bring the perfection of

There must be a strong desire to build up your life

involved in ought to be Blessed, Favoured and Progressive for this is
the life God has chosen for you...
When you're not experiencing the glory of God in your life, it's like a city broken down...
What does this tell you? That you should focus on the realm of glory,

Supernatural
Authority Pastor Chris Oyakhilome:
Behold, I give you the authority to
trample over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the
enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10: 19 NKJV). The
moment someone shows up claiming to have the right to do something,
people will want to know, “Who sent you?” If someone knocked on your
front door, and demanded to inspect your home appliances, you won’t just
let him in – you would want to know on whose behalf he’s acting.
Authority is a very important subject in everyday life, because you
cannot act beyond the power of the one who sent you. To attempt to do
that would be to put you in a dangerous position, where even the one who
sent you cannot help you. As a child of God, it is important to know
and understand the authority you’ve been given. The bible says about
Jesus “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name
that is above every name: That at the name
of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, of things in
earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians
2: 9-11). That means angels, demons and all nature must obey any
instruction issued in that Name. Jesus is in heaven, so who has the
right to this supernatural authority? The Lord Jesus said, “…All power
is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations…” (Matthew 28: 18-19). He’s talking to you! In His Name, you
have the right to cast out devils, mobilize angels and tame the forces
of nature. So, the authority you have is not from a commissioner,
governor, or the president of the greatest country – it is the highest
authority in the universe and it’s supernatural!
YOU’VE BEEN ANOINTED TO KNOW
Thus, you ought to function in life with the accurate knowledge of the
Word of God, of science, events, technology, the arts, and your work.
The Spirit of God, who is the Spirit of knowledge, dwells in you. This
is a special blessing from the Lord for His kids. So I urge you, even
when you sleep, learn to keep writing materials beside you, because many
times, you’ll wake up with revelations (supernatural knowledge) and
you’ll have to write them down. Solutions will be coming through you to
address the problems of the world. God has chosen you to give the
answers, and bring the solutions that the world seeks.
There’s a
supernatural ability at work in you to know things that are beyond the
physical realm. Become conscious of this truth today and function at
God’s high level, where you have access to the mysteries and realities of
the Kingdom. You’re anointed to know, so don’t condescend to the world’s
level of reasoning...

Spread The Good News In Your World
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
Gospel means good news. So when Jesus said for us to go into all the
world and preach the Gospel to every creature, He meant for us to preach
the good news. For a message to be classified as good news means it
must have the capacity to bring help to someone and improve his life.
It’s not good news if it doesn’t bring about any positive change.
Good news to the poor is that God has brought him out of poverty (2
Corinthians 8:9). Good news to the sick is that God loves him and wants
him well (3 John 1:2). Good news to the confused and despondent is that
Christ has brought him light, therefore confusion and discouragement are
over (Psalm 119:130). Good news to the sinner is that God is not mad at
him because of his sins; rather, He’s made righteousness available to
him through the Gospel (2 Corinthians 5:19).
This is the
message that has been committed to our trust. This is the good news we
must spread in our world. Your primary responsibility on earth is to
preach the Gospel to those in your world; those with whom you share
common interest, space or relationships.
The reason you’re on
your job is because God sent you there to share the good news of
Christ’s salvation with them, so that they might receive eternal life.
This isn’t optional; it’s the core of your existence as a believer in
Christ; necessity is laid upon you to preach the good news to those in
your world.
Prayer
Eternal Father, I acknowledge that your
precious Holy Spirit is upon me and has anointed me to preach the Gospel
to everyone in my world, bringing them out of darkness and thraldom of
defeat into the glorious light, victory and liberty of the sons of God,
in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

Make Definite Requests
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every
circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite
requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God
(Philippians 4:6 AMP).
You have to be definite when making
requests of the Lord in prayer, be specific; say exactly what you want.
Not many know how to make definite requests to God in their times of
need. They merely complain to Him, and eventually wonder why their
prayers are not answered. If you’re going to take advantage of God’s
extraordinary power in overcoming life’s adversities, you must learn to
be definite in prayer.
In Mark
10:46-52, we find the story of a blind man named Bartimaeus, who
repeatedly cried out to Jesus to have mercy on him. Naturally, you would
have expected the Master to immediately approach Bartimaeus and heal
him of his blindness. But He didn’t! Rather, He asked him, “What do you
want me to do for you?” Strange! Even though it was obvious the man was
blind, Jesus still wanted him to express his faith in specific terms. In
response, the blind man said, “I want to receive my sight.” The Lord’s
ensuing statement was, “Receive your sight!” and Bartimaeus was
miraculously healed.
What God wants isn’t for you to cry to Him
about your situation, but to express your faith when you pray. Faith
makes you a possessor! When you have made your definite request of the
Lord, give Him glory and keep your switch of faith turned on. Act like
Abraham, who “…staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but
was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded
that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform” (Romans
4:20-21).
Prayer
Dear Father, I declare that my faith is
built strong and producing greater results today, as I’m guided and
inspired by your wisdom to make the right requests in prayer, with the
accurate understanding of the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

came because of sin. It’s also because of this
that
Satan could lord it over man. So, when the
word of
God says sin shall not have dominion over
you, it
means the nature of sin and all its effects of
sin
shall not have dominion over you, Hellelujah!
Spread The Good News In Your World
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).
Gospel means good news. So when Jesus said for us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature, He meant for us to preach the good news. For a message to be classified as good news means it must have the capacity to bring help to someone and improve his life. It’s not good news if it doesn’t bring about any positive change.
Good news to the poor is that God has brought him out of poverty (2 Corinthians 8:9). Good news to the sick is that God loves him and wants him well (3 John 1:2). Good news to the confused and despondent is that Christ has brought him light, therefore confusion and discouragement are over (Psalm 119:130). Good news to the sinner is that God is not mad at him because of his sins; rather, He’s made righteousness available to him through the Gospel (2 Corinthians 5:19).
This is the message that has been committed to our trust. This is the good news we must spread in our world. Your primary responsibility on earth is to preach the Gospel to those in your world; those with whom you share common interest, space or relationships.
The reason you’re on your job is because God sent you there to share the good news of Christ’s salvation with them, so that they might receive eternal life. This isn’t optional; it’s the core of your existence as a believer in Christ; necessity is laid upon you to preach the good news to those in your world.
Prayer
Eternal Father, I acknowledge that your precious Holy Spirit is upon me and has anointed me to preach the Gospel to everyone in my world, bringing them out of darkness and thraldom of defeat into the glorious light, victory and liberty of the sons of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Make Definite Requests
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God (Philippians 4:6 AMP).
You have to be definite when making requests of the Lord in prayer, be specific; say exactly what you want. Not many know how to make definite requests to God in their times of need. They merely complain to Him, and eventually wonder why their prayers are not answered. If you’re going to take advantage of God’s extraordinary power in overcoming life’s adversities, you must learn to be definite in prayer.
In Mark 10:46-52, we find the story of a blind man named Bartimaeus, who repeatedly cried out to Jesus to have mercy on him. Naturally, you would have expected the Master to immediately approach Bartimaeus and heal him of his blindness. But He didn’t! Rather, He asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” Strange! Even though it was obvious the man was blind, Jesus still wanted him to express his faith in specific terms. In response, the blind man said, “I want to receive my sight.” The Lord’s ensuing statement was, “Receive your sight!” and Bartimaeus was miraculously healed.
What God wants isn’t for you to cry to Him about your situation, but to express your faith when you pray. Faith makes you a possessor! When you have made your definite request of the Lord, give Him glory and keep your switch of faith turned on. Act like Abraham, who “…staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform” (Romans 4:20-21).
Prayer
Dear Father, I declare that my faith is built strong and producing greater results today, as I’m guided and inspired by your wisdom to make the right requests in prayer, with the accurate understanding of the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
